Dates and Times
January 2011 Thursday 13th morning- begin filming opening, looking at the opening shots.
Friday 14th morning–continue filming looking at the main section of the opening.
Monday 16th afternoon- complete all filming and go over shots that need redoing.
Thursday 20th morning- begin editing, upload opening onto the computer.
Friday 21st morning - editing the opening
Monday 24th afternoon- continue editing
Thursday 27th morning-complete editing and put in titles
Location
I will film the opening of my film in a stereotypical school, so that the target audience will be able to connect with the locations. Then the opening moves into a school corridor which will represents the type of character Lilly is. The corridor will be empty with lockers and other staging that you would find in a school. This location also fits in with the convention of the genre of film.
Personnel and Actor
If this film was being done by a big institution then their would be more crew for the film such as a camera crew, lighting, sound ect and more people but for this their is only me to do all the different jobs involed in making a film. For the actors if it was an instituations I would have used well know actors as I found that this appealed to my target audience but I can not do this I will get my friends to play the characters. The actors I use will be the same age as my target audience and that age fits in with the convention of the film.
Equipment required and booked
I will need to book my camera and a tripod when I go out to film. Using a tripod will allow me to keep my different shots in the right framing, keeping them straight. I will also need to use an editing programme for my editing.
Costumes
The costume used will mach the style of the time which will appeal to the audience. The costumes will match the characters and help represent them to the audience. With Lilly costumes showing her to be a stereotypical 'nerd' and then Emma's costume showing her to be the bully.
Props
The props used will help create verisimilitude, using school work and books around Lilly showing her character. Then other props that would be expected to have in a school such as bags. Then I will use props to show the location with lockers in the corridor helping to set the scene.
